“Anjane hai hum ya koi pehchan purani hai…” Song By Krishna K Verma

Hamne nahi tha socha

Tum yu hame mil jaoge

Mere sapno se tum aise

Yu samne aajaoge…x2

Jane ye kaisi Kasish hai

Jo pal ye thehra hai…x2

Aanknon se ho rahi baatein

Aur dil ye dhadka hai

Anjane hai hum ya

Koi pehchan purani hai…

Je chahe gale yu lag jau

Ki dil mera machala hai

Jo khehna hai hame lab se

Wo baat dil keh de…x2

Barish ki ye boonde

Aur mausam ki angrayi

Bheege huwe ham hai

Aur pal bhi thehra hai…

Jane ye kaisi kashish hai

Ya pal ye pyara hai…x2

Ha tu bhi kehde ab to

Ki dil tera machala hai

Aa lag ja gale yu mere

Ki main bas tera hu…x2

Aanknon se ho rahi baatein

Aur dil ye dhadka hai

Anjane hai hum ya

Koi pehchan purani hai…

Aa lag ja gale yu mere

Ki main bas tera hu…x2

Hamne nahi tha socha

Tum yu hame mil jaoge

Mere sapno se tum aise

Yu samne aajaoge…x2

Anjane hai hum ya

Koi pehchan purani hai…x2

Jane ye kaisi Kasish hai

Jo pal ye thehra hai…x2

Aanknon se ho rahi baatein

Aur dil ye dhadka hai…

Ha tu bhi kehde ab to

Ki dil tera machala hai

Aa lag ja gale yu mere

Ki main bas tera hu…x2

Aanknon se ho rahi baatein

Aur dil ye dhadka hai…

Anjane hai hum ya

Koi pehchan purani hai

Aa lag ja gale yu mere

Ki main bas tera hu…x4

Book Review: ‘The Highway Man’ by J. Alchem

Title: ‘The Highway Man’

Author: J. Alchem

Format: Kindle Edition

ASIN: B072FDPL3G

No. of Pages: 47 Pages

Quote from the book:

“Life is not about missing what is gone but counting and cherishing what you have.”

Blurb:

The whole world is upside down. People are walking in the sky with the ground moving above their heads. And the reason is simple; a bestselling author is in love. But why the whole world is inverted? What’s so special about this love? Or worse?

A man throws his masculine brain and heart aside and fixes a feminine one there. And the reason is simple; he wants to live the life of his lover, for 24 hours. But why does he want to do that? What’s the need?

A man, neatly dressed in a suit, is playing with his bowler hat, on a highway at dawn. And the reason is simple; he needs a lift. But why does he need a lift? What’s his purpose?

Review:

‘The Highway Man’ is a beautiful short story written by J. Alchem. It’s a combination three short stories flawlessly woven with simple yet engaging writing style that is praiseworthy and use of extraordinary quotes in the stories are ‘Icing on the cake’.

The first story ‘Catherine’ is about a schizophrenic author who has fallen so deeply in love with his own fictional female character and the events that follwed while taking the steps to bring him out of that. The second story ‘Sidzy; for a day’, being my favorite, is a romantic short story. The way author has expressed the emotions is mesmerizing that the reader will find it a good read. Last but not the least, the third story ‘The Highway Man’ is a good attempt by the author to spread the word about counting and cherishing on what one has rather than to drown oneself in grief, pain and sorrow.

Overall, the book is not just a collection of three short stories but the collection of beautifully woven emotions that will keep the readers hooked up till the end.

‘O’ Mr. Jhalla’ Song By Krishna K Verma

Wo teri mastiyaan
Wo masti bhari baatein…
Tu lage mujhe bada hi cute
Par samne tu rehta kyu mute…
O’ Mr. Crazy
Teri adayein karti hai craziyaan
Ha crazi-yaa-n, crazi-yaa-n…
Tere hi khayalo me
Ha mein khoyi rehti hu…
Na bhukh hai na pyas hai
Kehte hai dost, Bani main jhalli…
O’ Mr. Jhalla
Tu na jane
Tu na samjhe…
O Mr. Jhalla
Ha main teri jhalli…
Teri adayein, karti hai craziyaan
Ha Crazi-yaa-n, Crazi-yaa-n…
Tu bada hi cute hai
Doston sang na rehta tu mute hai…
O’ Mr. Idiot
O’ Mr. Jhalla…
Hata wo tera headphone
Sun le mere is dil ka song
Hai iska apna hi swag
Hai tere liye ye bekarar
Pehan ke gale me ek chhalla
Karti hu tera intezar
Ha main teri jhalli
O’ Mr. Crazy…
Teri adayein karti mujhe craziyaan
Ha Crazi-yaa-n, Crazi-yaa-n…
O Mr. Idiot
Kyu na tu samjhe
Mera yu barisho me bheegna
Tera yu rukna, aur sath chalna…
Ek chhate tale, do dil chale
Khoyi main khoyi…
Hui main tere pyar me jhalli…
Saansein, ha meri saansein
Dhadkanein, ye dhadkanein
Chahe yu tujhme simatna
Ha bani main jhalli…
Tere pyar me…
Bani main jhalli…
O’ Mr. Jhalla
Banale mujhko
Tu apni jhalli…
Ho-o-o-ye-e-wo-ho-o-o-ye-e-ye
Ha main bhi hu bekarar
Karta tha main bhi tera intezar
O meri jhalli…
Dekha karta tha, chhup chhupke tere nakhre
Tera yu muskurana, barishon me bheegna…
Karti hai mujhe Craziyaan
Ha Crazi-yaa-n, Crazi-yaa-n…
Teri aadayein lagti mujhe cute
Ha karti mujhe mute
Bajake sweet flute
Banaya mujhe tera jhalla
Ha main tera jhalla…
O meri jhalli…
Ha main tera jhalla…
Aaja tujhe pehnau mai
Ungli me tere pyar mere chhalla…
Teri adayein, karti mujhe craziyaan
Ha crazi-yaa-n, Crazi-yaa-n…
O meri jhalli…
Ha main tera jhalla…
Ha tu meri jhalli…
Ha main tera jhalla…
O’ Mr. Crazy
Teri adayein karti mujhe craziyaan
Ha Crazi-yaa-n, Crazi-yaa-n…
Teri aadayein lagti mujhe cute
Ha karti mujhe mute
Bajake sweet flute
Banaya mujhe tera jhalla
O meri jhalli…
O mere jhalla…
Ha tu meri jhalli…
Ha tu mera jhalla…
Ha tu meri jhalli…
Ha tu mera Jhalla…
Ha tu meri jhalli…
Ha tu mera Jhalla…

‘The House Near The Woods’ By Krishna K Verma

“It was raining. I hurried to the only house I could see at a distant from the woods. My legs freezed the moment I saw a man (around his late 20s) sitting at the verandah leaving the door ajar. He was looking straight at me expressionless. I walked slowly towards him. I did not realise when my surprise look turned into sadness. I could see the mark his tears have left on his cheeks. The more I went closer the clearer I could see his dry lips. May be I should have told him about why was I there but I unknowingly bent down to touch his hands. I felt hypnotised or it may that I could feel how he is feeling. But the moment I touched him I immediately removed my hand because it was way too cold. He fell on my lap. I threw him aside and crawled few steps back out of fear. Then, I saw a photo that fell off of his hand. I gathered enough strength to look at the photo. I figured out that it was of a girl but it was tampered. Then, I made him sit and was keeping that photo in his hand thats when I found something written on the back of that photo. I took that photo and read, “I had told you don’t leave me ever because I can’t live without you. Please come soon. I love you…”. A sudden tears began rolling down my cheeks and I shouted my heart out for my helplessness because I could not remember anything after that accident on the day I left cursing him to die. I survived that accident but I was killing him since that day itself. I felt guilt, anger, love, helplessness and need for his presence. This is all that I got from the diary I found beside the dead couple embracing each other…”

Sun le ab dastak is dil ki…! (English Translated)

I wished to live my whole life with you

But could not draw that line in my palm

Wishes were unlimited with God to live and to smile

But innocent heart could not get that God has already drawn all the lines

I am already dying slowly with every tick of the clock

Unfortunate who want to live

I was wishing I could live my whole life with her

But there remains no more desire to live

I have simply given you every day of my life

Some in search of you and some in unsuccessful attempt to forget you

This is just my promises to you that are neither letting me die nor I am becoming able to live without you

Now, I wish to God if ever love finds its way to me in any birth then my whole life spend together with her

Or else I don’t get such love where there is no life to spend holding her hand

People say, you listen to the call of heart sooner then why are you delaying to bring us together

O God! Just leave few lines undrawn in my fate which I can draw with the best of my capacity

Please listen to the call of this heart also

God! I have faith on none but you only either you ask any Temple, or Mosque, or Church or Gurudwara or even any such places where I felt your presence

Just fulfill my wishes or hers

So what I want her and she wants my death

I have loved her and not business deal to get in return exactly what I gave

I know she also loves me more than herself but she always feared to hurt me

But I am drowning in the bog of pain

There is one God who has written everything beforehand and another is she who is completely unaware that only she can help me come out of this bog of heart pain (BogOfHP)

God! Please don’t delay anymore to bring us together

I don’t have much strength left to give more tests

Please listen to the call of this heart also

God! I have faith on none but you only either you ask any Temple, or Mosque, or Church or Gurudwara or even any such places where I felt your presence

Sun le ab dastak is dil ki…!

Chahte to the jina sari umra unhe pake

Par wo lakire bana na paye apne hatho me
Khwahise to thi bahot sari rabse jine ki, muskurane ki

Par masoom dil ye na jana ki pehle hi likh dali thi sari lakire rabne
Mar to ham yun hi til til rahe har roz, har pal

Kambakhat jina kaun chahta hai
Ji to chahta tha jiunga sath sari umra
Par ab jine ka bhi jazba na raha
Yun to kar chuke ham charo din naam tumhare jindagi ke

Kuch tumhe pane me aur kuch tumhe bhulane me
Ye bas mera tumse kiya huwa wada hai jo na hame marne deta hai na ham tumhare bina ji pa rahe
Abto bas yehi dua hai meri rabse ki agar pyar ho kabhi kisi mehboob se kabhi kisi janam to gujre sari umra uske sath
Ya fir waisa pyar hi na ho jisme sath mere hathme mehboob ka hath na ho
Kehte hai dil ki pukar jaldi pahochti hai tujh tak fir kyu der kar rahe uska didar karane se
Bas rehne dena chand lakire wo mere hatho me jise khud likhu apne karmo se ae rab

Sunle ab dastak is dil ki bhi

Tera hi banda hu ae rab chahe tu puchh le mandir se, masjid se, girija ghar se ya dargah se ya har us jagah se jaha maine tera ehsaas paya hai
Bas puri karde murad ya mere dil ki ya mere mehboob ki

To kya huwa ham unhe chahte hai aur wo hamari maut
Maine pyar kiya hai na ki sauda jo chahu wahi mile
Janta hu wo bhi hame tut ke chahti hai par darti thi hame dard na de
Par ab to ye dard ke daldal me hi dub raha hu

Ek rab hai jo sab likh chuka hai aur ek wo hai jo anjaan hai ki bas wo hi nikal sakti is daldal se
Ab aur der na kar ae rab hame unse milane me

Aur imtihan dene ka takat na raha
Sunle ab dastak is dil ki bhi

Tera hi banda hu ae rab chahe tu puchh le mandir se, masjid se, girija ghar se ya dargah se ya har us jagah se jaha maine tera ehsaas paya hai

Her enigmatic silence…!

”If she is with you and she is still silent then don’t construed as her lacking words to speak. Instead, it is either because she is contended or just wants you to speak while she listens or because she has so many questions quarrelling inside her brain to ask you but she does not want even a glimpse of shadow of hurt to fall on you or if you are also not speaking but embracing her while she is standing on her tiptoe then you are kissing her!”
